Encinitas Wedding Photographer bio picture

A little about me...

First off, thanks for taking a second to stop by and check out my work (and now wanting to find more about the person behind it)!

I'm a Carlsbad, CA based photographer who feels incredibly lucky to be documenting
people in meaningful moments in their life whether they're in So-Cal or beyond. I know it sounds corny, but (good) photos can truly tell a story that words never could. It's my mission to capture those moments in modern and fun way.

I know there are a TON of questions involved with hiring a photographer for your wedding or other special moment, so check out my FAQs if you haven't already.

Or, if you've enjoyed my work and want to talk, give me a call or email me!

MAYA: LIFESTYLE SESSION

maya8

To top off an amazing Easter day (and one of the best years of my life) my girlfriend Maya and I visited the local tourist trap, Carlsbad Flower Fields (www.carslbadflowerfields.com) to take some photos. After standing line behind plenty of fanny-packed entrants, we made our way out to the fields. It was AMAZING to see all of the vibrant colors of the thousands and thousands of flowers. We were both a bit bummed that they didn’t allow you to actually go in the flowers, but I guess it makes sense… you don’t want a lot of trampled flowers.

Anyway, we walked for a while and finally found the right backdrop to start shooting some pictures. Maya was a complete natural (as always), and hundreds of photos later (and a couple of mean looks from the security) we wrapped up our session. It was a ton of fun, and an excellent way to spend Easter!

Here are some of the shots we got…

We had a total blast, and can’t wait to continue the ‘tradition’ next year!
